As an R1, this is my first job out of college and I have loved every second. It has set the bar in terms of workplace culture, expectations, professionalism, and more! I am blessed to be able to work in a company that invests so much into each recruiter from the time they start- like the IG WAY!!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are constantly pouring in each and every day with new initiatives to keep recruiters, AM's, and contractors here! You always know where you stand!
What are some of the best things about your team?
Unity! Every single person truly is invested into growing one another personally, professionally, and financially. Growth through partnership is one of KC IGB's best qualities!
What makes you most happy at work?
The community/team I am surrounded in! Even just getting group chat updates of everyone's successes throughout the week keep me going and push me to do better!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The people that show up every day! Like everyone always says, recruiting isn't always fun, but the people you get to meet, help, and interact with is the best part of each day!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Just doing comparison of my peers in the same field/industry even within entry level positions (and no commission), they make a whole $7-10k more than me a year in base. Sometimes, I feel like IG could bump bases to at least be even in the playing field/industry.
