What do you like best about the leadership team?
I am incredibly impressed both with the intelligence of the leadership team as well as their welcoming nature. I think they are transparent and seem to genuinely care for the people in this company. I also find the values created by leadership to be very smart, and necessary to success.

Srishti was a great hire choice and will help us mature as a company. We need to get through the growing pains moving from a medium sized company to a large one. Not an easy task.

I like that we were given time off on an individual basis to step away and vote this previous election. I think the executive team is receptive to feedback and on a regular basis reflects on said feedback to improve.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
If we are up for sale, especially to private equity, be honest about it instead of saying "everything is great, business as usual" when everything is about to be cut if that happens. Just be transparent with us.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
I was really grateful to receive my RSUs on top of my salary.

My son was born while I worked at IAS and I was afforded 16 weeks paid leave. This has made a huge impact on my opinions and happiness with IAS as a company. Management gives a lot of flexibility around when and how work gets done in my experience which is primarily why I stay.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I don't feel undervalued per se, I'm just not earning the market rate L6 compensation, out of the last 3 jobs this job pays the least. Equity bump.

My team is only made up of bright, intelligent, and kind people. They all go above and beyond the standard of excellence. I literally have zero complaints about anyone that I work with.

We all make an effort to share different parts of our work so that more people know other peoples' roles and skills. The benefit to this is our time off flexibility because we always have coverage and support when there's unexpected life events or the need for mental health care.

Due to the different time-zones would be good to find better ways to sync.

Some coworkers are too busy and I feel like I annoy them when I ask them questions. Other coworkers seem to refuse to learn parts of their jobs and the work gets pushed back on me

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I would say that everyone at this company is willing to go out of their way to support and help you. It is a really lovely place to work and all the people here work very hard to care for each other and still focus on the product.

Work is based around agreements and deadlines and not necessarily on hours clocked in. You're treated like an adult where if you make a commitment that commitment is the standard you're held to rather than being micromanaged on how you achieve said hypothetical commitments.

What did you like most about the interview process?
Interviewers were gentle, knowledgeable and ready to share their view/approach towards the solution of a problem. Interviewers made interview very interactive and their behaviour was speaking for companies culture.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
More time spent planning before a project is green-lit would mean we start projects later, but we would finish earlier. There is a resistance to adding red tape, but some (well thought out) process could save headache and churn. This is an perception problem and could be addressed with education.

I am not excited to work I don't think is wrong. I am excited to do things that make me happy and work isn't where I get my happiness from. It can be at best intellectually stimulating. Also, can be fun on occasion.

The reason I put not excited is that I think my team is contributing to bad tech. IE We have a ton of tech debt and things we need to do and we are adding onto it instead of working to remove it.
