I get signed up for graveyard stocking shifts without warning, and overhear my passive aggressive manager talk about using cashiering hours as punishment. It was quick and painless.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I said no to my manager and got 9 hours last week. enough said.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

They don't hire anyone. Saturdays with one cashier. no one on the sales floor, so people steal all day long. Then, we get a talking to about shrink areas and theft.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Care more about the associate and less about sales. Find a better way to collect customer emails and phone numbers. We are harassed daily, hourly, and even every 15 minutes about customer email acquisition. People steal armfuls, then we get a talk about shrink areas. It's dumb
