It has its good moments, but there is nothing worse than retail except for maybe fast food. Customers are rude and degrading but they are "always right" and you just have to grin and bear it.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The coworkers are literally the most positive thing.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It felt very relaxed which I am not used to.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Better communication, it is so hard as a lower level employee to get things done properly when you are constantly getting conflicting orders.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel like I get asked to go way above my pay grade. It is hard to want to do the overwhelming amount of tasks when you are getting paid barely above minimum wage.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Corporate only cares about money and the customers are awful, they never understand coupons and then get mad at the part time employee because we can't do anything about the customer not having an account with us.
