The environment was unfriendly and rushed, but my co-workers helped keep me on track. I wish it paid better because we pass a lot of our skills and tips to customers and end up doing lots of math to help them with their projects.

It gave me the opportunity to express why I love arts and crafts and share that interest with others
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
People are too hassled to come get their fabric cut. The process is too slow and we are always understaffed.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I was forced to work part-time hours so I didn't get benefits or comp. I would often get called in for 3 hour shifts that didn't even pay for my gas to get there and back.
