I have enjoyed my years with Lane Bryant and see several changes in that time frame. My overall experience is pleasant until recently.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The store manager needs to have conversations with employees if there are performance/behavior concerns.
What did you like most about the interview process?
My interview was several years ago and the manager is no longer with the company.
What makes you most happy at work?
Honest, supportive and understanding co-workers and knowing I will help someone fulfill have a good experience that day.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The ladies work well together. Stylist have lots of energy and work well as a team to keep the store looking fresh and assisting our guests.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The most positive thing about my environment is mostly the other stylist I work with. We have several new faces mixed in and they have positive attitudes, seem ready to learn and assist clients as best they can. The seasoned ladies work well with the newbies and share the knowledge.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel my very underpaid for my time and value at the store. I don't make enough to participate in the benefits (hrs. vs. deduction) nor was informed there was a stock option to take advantage of. I was glad to see benefits were offer to P/T employees after all this time.
