Got one day of training to do my assistant managers job after she failed to learn it in a month. Manager above us didn't like my tone in a phone call at 5 am while I was tired, sick, cold, and trying to teach myself the missing steps in paperwork.

Leadership, like maybe pretend your job is actually yours to do. Accountability.

Welp society is on the collapse so it won't matter in a good 25-50 years
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I was being paid to be a cashier while working my assistant managers job and mine to compensate for a failed manager that was deemed acceptable enough by the company.
