They genuinely have a desire to work hard each day. They look for ways to improve and innovate. They are willing to cover for each other, and go the extra mile.
The leadership team appears to have a clear path for the sales leaders, but not the corporate workers. There appears to be too much ambiguity, and mid-level manager are NOT empowered to make decisions. There also doesn't appear to be any desire by certain VP's to mentor managers or lower workers.
There appears to be a huge taboo by my manger to discuss wages and career paths; it feels like if he promotes me or others within my department there won't be any left for him. Almost like he has a chip on his shoulder since he didn't get his fair increase in pay, so no one else in the dept. should
