The ideals are good, but we do not live up to them.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I make less than half of what I should for my job title, and I do work that far exceeds my job title. I've taken on the work of two full time employees without so much as a thank you, let alone an increase in pay.
