We seem to be focused on continual budget cutbacks. As a result, I must change plans every quarter to scale back deliverables. These deliverables could improve and increase revenue. However, as a public company, the focus seems on short-term EPS instead of growth through innovation and technology.
I decided to take a pay cut to come to Nu Skin with the opportunity to make it back in the bonus. However, Nu Skin's company performance has not enabled the target bonus payout. And, no matter how hard I work, I can't affect my bonus payout because it is based on factors beyond my control.
