The people directly around me
You can't plan to do any work. Constant fire fighting makes morale and work/life balance hard to achieve
The worker bees really doing a great job of working together in what is only chaos in direction from directors and C level
Making decisions and sticking to them. Not bending over to every leader's phone call when they are upset with a policy or strategy.
My team is smart and I learn from them everyday. I grow because of the team around me (rather than upper management). The worker bees are brilliant
Making decisions and not just reacting to every upset leader. They bend over backwards for distributors but that usually is at the expense of the employees that have to execute on their flippant reactionary decisions
Lack of strategy & big picture from the Execs. Afraid of a cranky leader calling even if the decision is the right one. Constantly changing their minds but never realizing the downward cultural effect of their actions on employee morale
I'm a woman and paid significantly less than the men in similar roles. The women however do all the work when a man and a woman are in the same job title on a project. Almost every project the woman leads, but the man gets paid. Benefits and options are different as well.
