I was expecting a raise when I switched into PM. I think it's fine that I didn't get one - it's just that there was no expectations set beforehand. I want to work really hard to establish myself in my new role and earn my raise.

Open communication is a really major part of everyone's conduct. There's no arbitrary hierarchy that indicates how important your opinion is. It really feels easy to make a positive impact when your team is truly collaborative.

It's very straightforward and collaborative. There are no gotchas or surprises. And it's extremely quick, no waiting and wondering.
