Old Navy Outlook Employee Reviews

What makes you most happy at work?

The customers coming back with stories and experiences to tell.

Clocking out when it is time

Helping managers with sets, assisting customers who are polite, being left alone to finish a task instead of being given 20 things to split my attention onto.

Interacting with our customers and feeling as if i have done things to help the team when i am at work

Seeing my work friends after a period of time!

my coworkers keep me going.

Seeing and spending time with some of my coworkers, and interacting with the customers, knowing that I helped them to the best of my ability.

The people and great team we have

Review from Sales Dept

Everyone is positive and friendly

The customers make it a positive experience for me as much as I make it for them

When the District Managers were not in store. When they would come to store we would have to spend an over night cleaning and perfecting the store to fake perfection.. and even still they DM would come in with nothing good to say. Just point out where you failed

The people i work with

Review from Sales Dept

My customers, every day getting to meet new people and also over the years acquiring regulars that love to have a conversation.

Friends I've made. Discounts. That's it

To come in and know what needs to be done in the priority of tasks, then get straight to it

interacting with customers and making them happy

Coworkers and when I get NRCs and Cores

That I get 50% off everything.

Review from Product Dept

When I'm working in the back doing go backs

I enjoy being able to work on projects like folding, packing online orders, and other organizational activities. It's also genuinely nice to see someone be happy when they receive a discount.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Sometimes people feel over prices and maybe judged to come in and feel pressured to use the brand card or sign up for one

I think when it comes to checking out customers get annoyed because they see associates on the floor but no one comes to the register to ring.

Improvement in training would help significant

Review from Operations Dept

Attention and help to customer needs.

they could be better to their employees and communicate instead of being cowardice

Customers are angry that prices have increased, promos have stopped and the consistency and quality in product has deteriated.

Many times I have had other Old Navy stores be used as an example to what the one I worked at should be like. One cannot compare two or three different stores with the same brand if they have different customers, employees, and leaders.

Nothing. Sexual harassment. It's terrible. And the workers are bad. They're very mean.

We get rude costumers a lot.

The pay seems very low and there are very few opportunities for the future if you start out as an associate.

Obsessiveness over Credit Cards, no work life balance, cant get ahold of HR department its third partied . Hyper superficial focus on image and progressiveness, only used to make a profit. They're using capitalism to monopolize "wokeness"

Management truly has no idea what they are doing. Very much a rudderless ship

Management needs improvement and to be on the same page

management is horrible and rude

Review from Sales Dept

Having managers that actually care about the employees well being/ safety in and out of store.

Review from Customer Support Dept

The managers and team leaders are just plain rude.

The manager needs to have better communication! Megan is great though

Review from Sales Dept

This company is nothing like what was explained during my orientation. Training is minimal and you have to figure most of it out on your own. No positive re-enforcement... Always want more results.

Review from Operations Dept

There's nothing that differentiates this from a job to being a career I could be excited about. I know there's no room to progress, because an advancement is decided on in advance by corporate, and often caters to them pulling in their own friends instead of actually looking at the internal talent

Review from Sales Dept

The GM is never there so when she shows up, she messes up the balance the other area managers have created. Employees don't like it when she is there.
