Old Navy Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

We are always focused on creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Some of the employees are great people, and make the long days better

the associates are positive and i understand that work is not going to be fun all the time but i shouldnt dread coming to work everyday in fear of being ran all over by my managers.

Review from Sales Dept

When I'm out on the floor I really enjoy helping people find what they are looking for,but it's rare that I'm out on the floor. I don't get the opportunity to excel

Well it's not really positive or negative it's kinds just natural. Like if an office job was a retail store

Energetic co workers , young and free spirited make me as a 47 yes. Gramma free alive and youthful

My team in the four walls

The staff who work hard and help one another

Everyone is friendly, everyone likes to help

the brand associates and leads ! these people absolutely can bring a smile to your face any day

Review from Marketing Dept

We were forced into fake positive events.. They would literally create fake awards just for social media photo ops to pretend it was a happy place.. The only good thing in that store were the associates, training them and seeing their excitement when succeeding at their role.

Everybody can be themselves with no judgment. At least at my store I can’t speak for every stor

Depends on the manager on duty

Nice wide variety of people and cultures

we get along well and there isnt much drama in the workplace

People, strong management team and good coworkers

Everyone who works there is positive

Everyone is very accepting and there's no judgement when you make a mistake.

Support each other to help finish job

My store Product Operations Specialist is the nicest person.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Management and leaders being willing to listen and hear what the floor associates have to say without them having a fear of repercussions, (less days or hours scheduled), given menial tasks, losing their job, or having a pile up infractions initiated against them to leading to a termination.

Better managers better communication. Open communication

much better pay and communication

New district manager in ottawa and qiebec

Review from Sales Dept

Hire a new GM teach everyone about respect

Fire all senior leadership and rebuild.

the mangers need a change

To accept that not everyone needs to fit a mold that is a kind of an all or nothing formula. Some employees can be amazing with shipment and handle the register very well, but they can't get enough sign-ups or credit cards? Guess they'll be part-time forever.

Better leadership. New mangers. More Communication.

Review from Product Dept

Actual coworkers to be more nice

Some of the managers are aggressive and can be very rude. Some managers do not care for their employees safety or mindset.

Review from Customer Support Dept

People talk to much about there personal lifes

Review from Sales Dept

Be who you say you are... You say it's a fun company but all of does is focus on unrealistic credit card goals

Review from Operations Dept

Culture only exists for the higher ups. If you're at the bottom of the totem pole, you're nothing but a dispensable worker, and the company proves that by not wanting to invest in you or give you a reason to stay

Review from Sales Dept

since new management has come on board the morale has gotten terrible

Review from Sales Dept

The needs to treat associates better

Review from Sales Dept

We need more positive than negative in the store they need to quit hiring so many people and give everybody a 40-hour work week that would be nice instead of hiring people and only given them 20 to 25 hours a week if that many sometimes you don't even get that

Review from Sales Dept

The district manager needs to stop being an emotional leader. He is not one second and cold the next

Review from Sales Dept

Better employment guiedlines More assertive managers

Review from Sales Dept

All MGRs need to follow company policy and not over look individuals including other mgrs. Zero tolerance policy
