Interview process is very relational, not standardized or formal in any way. This works well for some people but not for some others.
They are incredibly smart and customer-focused. They are always striving to learn more and improve strategy and execution. They are caring, kind individuals who want to do what's right for customers and for their teammates.
Leaders must be accountable for bad choices (acquisitions, financial planning, talent retention and acquisition strategy). I hear very little accountability from senior leaders at Rapid7. Prioritization and capacity planning are non-existent at every level of the company. Take responsibility.
Seeing that my team's work helped someone secure their environment. Also, seeing once in a blue moon that there has actually been a decision made about what a priority is, and I have the tools and resourcing available to me to make clear progress toward it.
