Lack of experienced leadership. Leadership does not support their teams or provide coaching/development opportunities. High performers are undervalued. No real feedback or path for low performers to improve. No career paths. Promotions are withheld even for high performers.

The small company, start-up environment. Being able to wear different hats and feel like I am contributing to the growth of the company

Our customers and our solution - I love working with our customers and our helping them leverage our solution to make their day easier.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation needs to be on par with the industry (it is not). High performers are also not treated any differently than weaker team members.

Bring salary range up to industry standard, we don't have to be at the top, but we should at least be in the industry range.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

We are providing a really valuable solution to our customers. And the team members who truly care about their work and want to do the best for our customers and our company.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Some of my coworkers are really amazing colleagues and strive to do what is best for our customers and are focused on improving the company and our team. They are great to collaborate with and help develop my skills.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Compensation levels for my role are far below industry averages. While some effort was made to get it closer this year, we still have a long way to go. Also clearer path on how to grow within the company

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Recognition of employees who go above and beyond. Also having a continuous improvement mindset - what is working/what's not working and how can we do better going forward? Also need to be more involved in what's happening day to day to identify areas of improvement/need

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Engage more with the team (including skip level meetings as a regular occurrence), listen to challenges that are occurring and work with the team towards real fixes, bring salary ranges up to industry standard, offer pathways for continuous improvements, mentoring for those new to management roles
