Salesforce Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The fertility benefits are world class and I love them.

Review from Marketing Dept

I guess I dont really think of the benefits/compensation pieces individually, but rather as a whole. Its a "package" and that is what makes it attractive. There are all kinds of offers for everyone's different stage of life.

Review from IT Dept

401K matching, wellness benefits, and great vision and dental plans

Review from Operations Dept

Compensation is fair, plus very strong benefits. Usually it's one or the other but it's a nice balance here.

Review from HR Dept

Very good compensation versus comparable positions at other companies.

Review from Sales Dept

Consistent raises + generous equity

Review from Sales Dept

Employee retirement matching and monthly wellness budget

Review from Marketing Dept

it's fair compared to other companies

Review from Marketing Dept

Everything seems covered. I don't worry about medical or other issues. I'm able to take care of myself and my family because I know SF has provided us great benefits that will cover us.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Compensation aligned to my performance, in line with the midpoint of the role or higher.

Review from Finance Dept

lyra benefits and betterup coaching

Review from Sales Dept

It is up to industry standards

Review from Marketing Dept

Low premiums, most things covered, low deductibles

Review from HR Dept

Health care benefits are the best

Review from Customer Success Dept

While not at the peak for tech, compensation is competitive with other US corporations generally.

Review from Legal Dept

Generous bonus program, equity awards are very much appreciated, 401(k) match is good, low cost or no cost health insurance helps a lot.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Having a mix of base, performance bonus, and equity.

Review from Finance Dept

Yearly salary increases have made up for cuts in variable pay

Review from Sales Dept

Medical coverage at a reasonable cost.

Review from Engineering Dept

Medical, dental, and mental health benefits

Review from Sales Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I'm consistently told by my peers that I'm underpaid, and our health care has significantly degraded in the past 2-3 years.

Review from Engineering Dept

I make a CONSIDERABLE amount less than my colleagues in the same position, just because I've been promoted internally vs hired externally. We do the same job, carry the same quota, etc. How Salesforce pays people encourages us to leave and maybe boomerang if we want to be paid fairly.

Review from Sales Dept

Stock options for all EAs

Review from Customer Support Dept

I haven’t seen a raise or promotion in over 5 years. Despite applying for other positions, I'm passed over. Colleagues hired after me are promoted faster. I work hard and want fair compensation. More responsibilities are added, but pay

Review from Customer Success Dept

If it was actually raised to the baseline needed for independent living in my area

Review from Product Dept

There's been no raise in 3 years. Promotions are a joke. Every time you think you've done what's expected, they move the bar. I've also seen more bench time than any other time in my career. Consultants are trapped by their OU

Review from Customer Success Dept

If the company would be more transparent about and actually annually update the geographic pay bands that they have in place. Mine has not changed whatsoever in several years working here, and I live in a major metropolitan area that is somehow in the same geo as Arkansas, Kentucky, etc.

Review from Marketing Dept

I believe that our fixed pay should be more competitive and aligned with current market rates. Additionally, I have observed that women often receive lower compensation compared to their male colleagues, which is a concern that needs to be addressed to ensure pay equity within our organization.

Review from Product Dept

Compensation aligned to my performance, in line with the midpoint of the role or higher.

Review from Finance Dept

Same level being paid more in other FAANG

Review from Engineering Dept

The base pay comparable to other large tech companies is very poor when being promoted internally

Review from Sales Dept

I believe that for my title and responsibilities, my base salary should be higher. More promotion opportunities and higher merit increases would make me feel better. More defined guidelines to how to achieve both would also help

Review from Customer Success Dept

My role is sales but I don't have any incentives for spiffs and my team quota ties to products I don't even sell

Review from Customer Success Dept

Would like more career potential

Review from Engineering Dept

The inability to promote resources yet expect that everyone perform at a level above their current grade is diplorable. If there is a promotional freeze and the demand for everyone to perform above grade then the performance regardless of how it compares to others should have aligned compensatio

Review from Customer Support Dept

My team is not compensated fairly for the work we are required to perform

Review from Finance Dept

Current comp plan does not reflect reality. Territories are not created equal.

Review from Sales Dept

My role and goals for my role are at times in conflict with other messages coming from leadership. In addition our new compensation plan is not aligned with measurable/achievable metrics.

Review from Sales Dept

I feel undervalued because Salesforce does not refresh RSUs for engineers. RSUs make up about 25% of compensation and while my salary was competitive when I was hired, the lack of any additional RSUs means I am now underpaid by at least 25%. Salesforce pays new employees more than existing ones.

Review from Engineering Dept

A true leveling guide. Fair promotions. Paid parking.
