Compensation structure is not aligned to what market is paying

Compensation needs to be in parity with bay area. Easy to see why attrition occurs. The attitude is similar to the other big 4 companies now where it is planned attrition when you realize your market value.

What are some of the best things about your team?
Collaborative, reliable and professional. My colleagues are very supporting in everyone's success at Slalom. Management at local level can be less than desirable - hit and miss on how they view success at the employee level and minimal support - sink or swim with minimal help.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Alignment to core values. Need to get back to why the company was started beyond just keeping local as a core value. Local markets focus solely on revenue and profit in spite of consultants balance of life now (or respect - pressure to charge at least 44 hours/week.
