I love my department and the people I work for & with. It's very laid back and can be non-politically correct at times.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Focusing on employees as much as the airplanes.
What do you like best about your company?
The freedom to be ourselves and make decisions on our own.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Great insurance benefits, 401K match and profit sharing. Also, free flight benefits.
What would you most like to see improved at your company?
Empowerment by local Management to make decisions without having the Home Office having the final say in personnel issues.
What are some of the best things about your team?
There are only 2 of us, but we work together like we were meant to be a team.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I haven't had to interview for the last 20 years so this is a question that I couldn't answer with any knowledge.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We are an airline. We can't make the public happy with us at all times. Someone isn't going to like us and our policies.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We base culture high on the totem pole. We have a company culture committee and local committees in each station. We are allowed to be silly and engage both other employees and our customers.
