In my experience, this company is better than most in being fair and rational in how it works with employees. As a person of color and as a woman, I've been impressed with the fairness and the lack of bias against me, which has not been my experience with other companies in this industry.

They run the business as human beings, not corporate entities, and they work with and treat employees as people that they value.
What makes you most happy at work?
Having my work recognized and valued and being treated as a valued member of the team. Having lots of regular customers who enjoy, value, and appreciate the service we provide.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Every employee not part of a store's staff who comes into the store to do some work, which includes the District Manager and various company maintenance staff, has always been friendly and has always interacted with the store's employees with respect and as valued members of the team.
