I hate going to work everyday. I feel undervalued and underappreciated. I have been there for 2 years and did not get a pay raise. I dont feel as though my company protects me or cares about me at all. I feel I am expected to clean and do more then anyone. I cant wait to find a new job.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Not spreading gossip. Not allowing customers or staff to steal. Not threatening employees.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The regular customers that you see everyday you get to know them and develop friendships with them.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I absolutely feel undervalued. Management expects more from me then he does his own shift lead. No pay raise since being employed.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Customers and staff are stealing. There is absolutely no communication between shifts. Lacking good management. Manager speaks very sexually most of the day about customers. Management talks about staff to other staff. Everyone talks about each other.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Not spreading gossip. Not talking about each other. Not leaving tasks for the next shift. Actually doing the tasks that your filling the book out for. Cleaning the bathrooms. Greet customers thats why you are there. No eating at the register. No cell phones on the floor for any reason. Communicate.
