The company used to be about the employee and about the customer, but when Ed Rust retired and they put the new CEO in charge it became a numbers game and not about the employee or the customer

It was great for the the first 12 years until corporate decided to run the operations

I am underpaid for all that I do.

My team is what gets us through the day

At this time we are overworked and not compensated fairly

It was so long ago when I interviewed I am sure things have changed

Corporate telling departments how to run when the employees are doing the job and know what needs to be done.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Insurance benefits are pretty good but do not have anything to compare to since I have been there almost 20 years.

They are closing the office where 75% of the employees have 15 to 35 years and loved what they did.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The CEO has run the company into the ground. It has gone so far away from what the company was built on.

Doing what is right for the customer and the employee they keep saying that they are but they truly don't understand what that means
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is not much positive. Since the CEO decided to make the company be lead by corporate, they have no idea how it should be ran.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
The coworkers do not care because State Farm has made so many changes and don't care about us. So the employees dont care to do great work.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Stop closing offices where there is experienced employees and creating huge offices in the middle of the country where nobody wants to live, so they hire people off that street that have no skills and pay them low wages.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
the upper management is trying to make the complex injury department and Express injury Departmen. this department should be handled by one person and not a team environment. customers do not like calling in explaining everything over and over and over again and getting multiple different people
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
nothing is very positive at the office right now. too many changes that do not benefit our customer but benefits the CEO and upper management, but they do not do our jobs so they do not understand that what they are doing is only making their employees dislike the company even more
