What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The work environment is civil normally emotions are kept in check when interacting and having disagreements.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Understanding the current customer's desire for direct sales, they do not want to deal with agents.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We have lost our leadership role in the industry. We need to get executives who understand insurance and IT back in charge of the company.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Our company recently implemented a new salary structure for newer employees so that salaries rise only with inflation rates, there are never true raises any longer for 95% of the IT work force.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Most coworkers have only worked for this company so they have very narrow views of the ways of getting things accomplished. They need to open their minds to new ways of doing things.
