The pay range is advertised $15,000 more than you will be offered. Even when you hit commission goals the agent will just not pay you with no explanation. There are NO benefits at all.
Even the agent admits they don't care about retaining customers, it is just get them in, get their premiums and who cares if they leave afterwards. Some customers have to wait weeks for simple changes to their policy because of this.
Be truthful about the hours. You will be expected to work at least 10-12 hours a day and on weekends too. If you take the salary and convert it into an hourly wage, the hours come out to being less than minimum wage.
Most of the people have no higher education so they are taken advantage of daily because of this. It is sad to see people quit good paying jobs to come and make less here with false promises of more money that never materializes.
Be truthful! Say this is a job where you will be expected to harass everyone you know and the focus is NOT on customers service/satisfaction but on getting their money and getting them gone. Expectations will be higher for men than women and compensation will be much less than you think.
Stop micromanaging to the point you run off your employees. It is bad enough you lie about the salary range prior to being hired but then to not say the job is nothing more than prospecting like a car salesman is just wrong. You are expected to harass everyone you know to switch their insurance.
