What is the best part about your compensation package?
I'm fairly compensated and have a strong bonus structure that keeps me motivated year-round. Benefits are great with fully covered health insurance, generous PTO, and more.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team at Sterling is very transparent and excellent at communicating with the full staff, regardless of level or function. It's clear that they care about all employees and put employees first no matter what.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is very open and friendly. Conversations across departments is encouraged. Since moving to a remote workforce due to COVID, there have been team happy hours scheduled weekly, awesome training opportunities, and lots of conversation around social justice and diversity/inclusion.
What makes you most happy at work?
I have challenging work that is enjoyable to do. I feel myself growing as a professional, with the opportunity to learn from all the talented team members around me. I feel that working at Sterling is helping me grow my career in new ways.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Communication with the recruiter was excellent - by the far the best of all the companies I interviewed with. I was kept up-to-date on the status of my application, scheduling the interviews was easy and convenient, and I got everything I needed to make an informed decision once given the offer.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is full of strong, intelligent, experienced professionals who are some of the best. The amount of talent on our team is fantastic and everyone gets to continually learn from each other. To top it off, everyone genuinely wants to be here and is always looking for ways to move the company fwd.
