My team feels like a group of friends. We all work together closely, care about each other personally, and are always willing to help each other.
The most positive thing about the environment and culture is the level of caring that we have for each other. We celebrate each other's successes, address difficulties candidly and constructively, and are always willing to help each other.
I am most happy at work when my workload is balanced and I have the opportunity to work on the projects I am most interested in. I enjoy meetings with my teammates to see how they are doing.
The interview process for me seemed more conversational and less transactional; this meant that I felt more comfortable "being myself" and less like I had to make an overt presentation. I feel this gives a better impression of the candidate you are interviewing.
I think the benefits are good and quite affordable for the coverage they provide. I am quite happy with the health/dental/vision benefits; However, I do feel our team is underpaid for the complexity of the work we do - not significantly underpaid, but underpaid all the same.
I feel that our leadership team geniuinely cares about their employees and is quite progressive in terms of diversity and inclusion. They live the values that they preach, and are very down-to-earth and personable. While we can always push forward and improve, I couldn't ask for a better team.
