My overall experience at Sterling has been positive. While I work hard and tend to work a lot of hours, there isn't a day that goes by that someone on my team doesn't say something positive or make me laugh. Any frustrations are equally matched by satisfying team interactions.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I appreciate the retirement match. The generous PTO is nice, but I never use it.
What makes you most happy at work?
The people I work with make each day not just filled with hard work, but also lots of laughs.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I learned a lot about the company at my interview; however, I didn't feel the company even attempted to learn anything about me.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I appreciate that our leadership team identifies areas for improvement and growth and are constantly working to better our process, our organization and our people.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The most positive part about the culture of our company is the willingness to learn and grow. Because of that, I feel comfortable going to my superiors with questions and/or concerns.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I really enjoy the personalities and interactions within our team. Our team is somewhat diverse in backgrounds, but very diverse in personalities, yet for the most part, we all get along quite well. My team is a large part of the reason I enjoy coming to work every day.
