I have built my career with my company. It is enjoyable most of the time.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They communicate the goals and direction of the company. They seem to care about our mental health.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The company encourages associates and management to plan and progress forward in their career, life, & mental health.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We work together and celebrate the wins together. In some cases we spend more time with our teams then we do our actual family but this in turn makes them close as family.
What makes you most happy at work?
While I do not enjoy the problems at work, I enjoy being the problem solver. Knowing that people can come to me because they know that I know the answer and/or will find it. It makes me feel happy to know that I am helpful.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have worked for the company for 10 years and am being paid less than my peers who are being newly hired. When I brought this up to my management & HR I was told to assess for store manager; which I have done and passed. I should be paid for my experience and knowledge with THIS company.
