Horrible, I have been used and abused for years. Unfortunately, due to my own personal life I'm stuck here until you cut me or force me out as you tend to do with people who hit the 20 year mark. I have been used as a scape goat by admin to cover their butts when they screw up.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Helping the customer and having flexibility in my hours.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
You get what you pay for. If you want the people who washout at Walmart keep paying bottom dollar.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Every day is stressful. None of us know if we're going to be closed down or moved. Full timers are being threatened with being sent to faraway stores because the company is full timer heavy. But the managers are being told to keep hiring!
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Stop promoting people who they are friends with and start investing in the future of the company. We are one of the most expensive supermarkets chains around. What are we doing to make our stores worth the extra cost? Besides investing in a top heavy administration while cutting every corner?
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Being paid a living wage! I've worked for this company for almost 20 years and people coming in the door make almost as much as I do. That should be an embarrassment to this company. We feed our communities but are paid less than fast food workers. Why would we invest in our company?
