Most days are good but our hands are tied at store level with a lot of things

They are like family members and work hard for our customers

I love being around people and help make a difference in their life

Just the people we can reach out to at store level for guidance and help
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
They took our pension away but other areas of Ahold leadership get a pension, sure thats fair
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Just the same thing what audit is coming today, is Ariel coming to talk down to us and treat us like trash
What are some of the best things about your team?
They treat you like family and feel welcome each day, they are not afraid to work and help others, they love time with our customers
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Pay scales are all over the place people with 30 years making less than people with 15-20 years. Lets face it money is the reason we are here
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Get rid of the busy work that has no value to the business i.e. communication boards, no one looks at them but they are part of an audit. We need I pads or a device so we don't have to run upstairs all the time.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Pay grades are a mess, when you look at someone with 25-30 years they are paid less than someone with 20 years. Our pension was taken away which was not fair at all. We were told it was the industry average, well we should have been a leader not a follower. We cater to the RX staff.
