I have liked working here but this company has changed so much. I do not feel seen and I feel like I am a number on a spread sheet.

Actually caring about the associates and not just pretending to care.

There senses of humor and their resilience to the obstacles and challenges of this job.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Leadership. There are far to many redundant audits that cause undue stress on store management.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
It is not a good job right now. Stop with the micromanaging and let us run the stores.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have 20 years experience with this company and 14 years as an exempt. New exempts hired off the street are being paid much more than me. This invalidates my experience at stop and shop and it makes me question the loyalty and dedication that I have shown this company.
