I am also a long time associate. After a certain point you are written off from being useful and not considered for anything other than what you are doing. When it comes to real issues that you try to communicate to the next level for assistance there is none but so much is expected in your areas

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
many long term associates. When you go to other stores, transfer or fill in, you always know someone
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Poor, very poor communication when it comes to job performance and advancement. Some store managers are so paranoid of loosing their job or at least the threats they hesitate to train and will not receive questions.
What makes you most happy at work?
being able to accomplish what is expected of me so I can spend more time with associates and customers. This allows me to interact with associates more and talk to and hear from our customers
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Store manager and DD will listen and assist. I am not intimidated to ask questions. Upper levels will not give you an ounce of attention. Do not come to store to assist or listen. We sometimes encounter road blocks completing some tasks but no one wants to system or assist.
