I have been working for this company for over 30 years and overall I am thankful for the opertunities it has allowed me. In most recent years many of my peers have left this company due to increased demands and negative environment. As one of hundreds of store managers there is limited career growth
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They have been working to improve communication.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is enthusiastic, engaged, care about the work the do.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My comapany is not extreamly positive and highlight the opportunities much more than acknowledging the positive.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel for the increased amount of accountablity and demands of the position there has been no financial adjustment to the manager position.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
My customers have been vocal about the most recent price increases and I have seen a decrease in customer count and items. I am often reminded by the customers the severe price difference between my store and my main competitor Market Basket less than 1 mile away.
