The leadership team does not appear to value their employees. They appear to be directionless and reactionary.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It is exciting to work in renewable energy, that is by far the most positive thing about this job.
What are some of the best things about your team?
There are many talented and kind people at Sunnova. Unfortunately, most of them are not in management positions. We try to support each other but it often feels like us versus upper management.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Because our leadership is directionless every day is stressful. They say we are 'fast paced' but what that means is we are reactionary. It makes for a chaotic environment and makes the quality of our work suffer.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
There is not transparency regarding pay nor compensation. HR is unable to clearly explain our bonus or incentive structure and they say there is no process to be promoted. Pay is not scaled based off cost of living.
