You have the ability to gain a vast amount of experience in different occupations than you would at a larger company.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Sunnova has an opportunity to provide a strategic vision with goals that can be planned against to offset the number of reactive fire drills that are thrown at employees with the expectations to work nights and weekends to meet those goals.

What are some of the best things about your team?

This team is one of the most talented, experienced, and solutions-oriented set of people I've come to know. They come to work with compassion and an understanding of what needs to get done as a team to meet the goals of the business.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

As a company the executive team need to do an overhaul on the pay structure and titles of people within the business; they need to put more of a focus on culture and less on execution. Direct leadership needs to lead with trust, compassion, decisiveness and organization.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The company needs to do the following: A. Enact yearly raises to offset the cost of living increase B. Offer pay transparency - restructure the titles and pay within teams C. Enact a clear leadership program where high performing employees understand the path to promotion
