Thomson Reuters Outlook Employee Reviews

What makes you most happy at work?

Using my skills and being able to work remotely

Workload and the space to be able express one's self.

Being around good coworkers at work.

Review from IT Dept

Chill work environment that offers flexibility.

Solving problems (creatively) and the freedom to do what's needed.

Work life balance and compensation.

Walking into a team/colleagues I look forward to seeing and who are equally happy to see me. We trust and enjoy each other. Being free to arrange my desk, workspace and surrounding environment is also very important.

Putting out a quality product.

My teammates and customers. Love working on what i do.

The support I get from coworkers

Review from Communications Dept

Interesting job scope, interesting challenges

Review from Sales Dept

Exciting transformational projects that make large impact

Learning and good work ?

Opportunities to show off my skills

The people that I work with.

having a management team that listens to the voice of the people

I miss working in the office.

Team work is great and brings diverse views

My colleagues and the projects I get to work on.

Review from HR Dept

The actual work, the people, the impact we are making

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

not sure but the senior manager in activation is not forthcoming and should have checks in place.

No accountability. No customer care / focused. Even when customer escalate, no one to deal with properly. Often over charge customer by padding hours.

All are outdated legacy systems and no enhancements are coming

Leadership needs to lead by example and give people a reason to stay other than trying to throw money at them to temporarily stay. Outsourcing and constant cost cutting are gutting core product teams.

Review from IT Dept

They continually increase rates without providing any value

Let us do our jobs and stop with pushing social agendas, courses we will never use and reviews that are a huge waste of time and stressful

Too large an emphasis on moving the work to places where the employees have lower wages and no expertise.

Way to many bad customer experiences for me to get in to here. The company is well aware of the issues. I'm not convinced the company is capable of dealing with or solving the issues.

Review from Product Dept

We have all the buzzwords imaginable on how we are obsessed with our customer while putting employees in grueling goal schedules that are determined on customer satisfaction and NPS. The ops teams are a parade of turnovers

Change or replace upper management.

Review from Product Dept

There is a lack of communication about changes. When changes are made, they tend to be implemented and then communicated to employees. Some changes ran into issues that could have been resolved before the changes were implemented if there was better communication ahead of time.

Review from Customer Support Dept

It's a flurry of disorganization that I deal with constantly.

Review from Operations Dept

Stale uninviting culture. Aged facilities. Lack of technology. Lack of software tools. Lack of hardware tools. Inefficient processes.

Review from HR Dept

would like to work from home more. My commute isn't great. Plus I'm asked to travel a lot.

The company survives because our customers rely on our content, but nothing changes positively - customers do not love us, they just need us

What do you like best about your company?

Looking forward to change as a result of new leadership

The challenge of helping customers.

Review from HR Dept

Culture and the ways of working, the employee benefits

Review from HR Dept

What would you most like to see improved at your company?

Internal processes and disjointed systems

Not much to improve at work.

Review from HR Dept

Nothing I see at this point in time as everything is perfectly executed.

Review from HR Dept
