Trimble Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The benefits match the industry. "Unlimited PTO" is positive as long as you're disciplined to actually take PTO.

Rewards performance which is as fair

I like the unlimited PTO, though that will take getting used to. At a previous employer, I had 18 days PTO and it was easier to tell whether I was taking enough time away from work. But I appreciate Trimble valuing the employees' physical/mental health.

Health insurance is good, open PTO policy is a plus, compensation is competitive. I think Bonus structure and RSU allotment could be better.

The top bonus is for me the most interesting and motivating part of the compensation package.

There are many great benefits, such as legal and mental health. I have used those to defer costs for legal concerns as well as personal care.

I see no reason software engineers should be in a much higher pay bracket than optical engineers considering we tend to have, e.g., PhDs and can write code and they cannot understan basic optics. This is kept in the dark by the company by saying all optical engineers are mechanical engineers.

Overtime is not paid, but is expected as a standard requirement. No compensation, appreciation, or remuneration.

Review from Product Dept · Posted 4 days ago

I sometimes feel undervalued when my responsibilities and contributions grow but there isn’t a corresponding review or adjustment in compensation or recognition. To feel better about my compensation, I would appreciate clearer performance-b

Overall workload underestimation; missing little things that keep a good relation ship alive; a personal thank-you

Review from Engineering Dept · Posted 4 days ago

Performance, ownership, and impact should have a stronger influence on compensation and promotions than years of experience alone. A more transparent and standardized performance evaluation system across teams would improve fairness, recognition, and motivation.

Review from Engineering Dept · Posted 4 days ago

Trimble compensation is lower when compared to the market and promotions through the various pay levels is a challenge. Too many managers prevent promotions because of their past experiences.

Took a big pay cut coming to Trimble thinking the work would be interesting but that was not the case.

I want: 1) clear and consistent strategic direction from leadership team for product management and the freedom and authority to execute. 2) Clear framework for promotion and career growth that management follow and honor 3) Less gas lighting about promotion talks

I feel undervalued because my 15-year tenure and increased responsibilities are being compensated below the rates offered to new hires. To feel better about my compensation, I am looking for a pay adjustment that reflects both current market standards and my long-term contributions to the team
