What are some of the best things about your team?

Our team interacts well with each other, and my perception is that we are able to drive work efficiently within our team due to how well we interact together. We don't avoid conflict, we properly engage with it towards resolution. This is healthy.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Improve accountability and validation of peer feedback. We can work better by documenting verbal agreements to ensure transparency and stop the dismissal of shared project history.

Daily meetings should be work related and not forced water-cooler conversation. This leads to 3-5 hours of wasted time weekly.

this horizontal structure is flawed in SO many ways, and rather than let it simmer for the next 18-24 months, I would make adjustments NOW. It doesn't work, and I believe it won't work in many ways, I don't think the executives can see this from their angle.

You need to understand that teamwork is not given by hierarchy. That analysts perform the same function, and who is responsible for managing the team is the manager.
