How's the morale at Tuesday Morning?
Morale was ok at the location I was at. It could be much better because you are expected to be available whenever they want you but for only 4 hours a day. We also had a very hard time keeping employees. That is also due to scheduled hour issues. No one wants to work 4-6 hours a day, 5 days a week. Even though I was at the store everyday, my checks were sad. There is very little room for advancement. Though the regional manager said in my interview they like to promote from within. It was a lie. The West coast region has no interest in developing their employees and none of the managers are interested in mentoring. It was a very disappointing experience.
It is definitely poor. They treat their employees horribly. They overwork their store managers. Upper management (district, regional, etc...) only worry about their bonuses not about the store team ( store mgr, keyholders, clerks, etc). The worst company I have ever worked for and dealt with.
