Positive Reviews From UC San Diego Employees

  • What are some of the best things about your team?
    Hard working and diverse group
  • What did you like most about the interview process?
I like that they pick customers from different departments to be on the interview panel. That makes the voting process less tainted.
  • What makes you most happy at work?
Interacting with my team! They come in with a smile and ready to work.

Constructive Feedback From UC San Diego Employees

  • Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Salary is not competitive. No extra bonus. No salary negotiation
  • Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I do feel undervalued because I don't receive much praise from my manager. I help my team with projects, I complete evaluations and classes on time and I feel that with the additional effort that I put in I deserve to receive the max amount of a bonus, not less due to me using valid FMLA.
  • Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Knowing the average salary in my field (non-profit and corporate), it is disheartening to know that my salary is about 50% less.
