What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone always wants to improve. Everyone wants the next day to be better than the day before. Everyone wants the guest to have the best experience and leave feeling good about themselves.
What makes you most happy at work?
Having a clean and presentable sales floor for guests. Helping guests find the perfect gift. Having a cancer patient come in with no hair/eye brows/eye lashes and set them down in a chair and make them feel BEAUTIFUL. Sharing love and beauty with all our guests.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
As a manager the leadership team above management is the district manager and the regional manager. They basically read reports on your store and tell you how to improve. Not knowing the demographics your area. In the 6+ years I was with Ulta I had 5 store managers.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
There were hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals to meet. If you actually met your goals the prize was always a pizza party. We are not high school kids. Having a catered lunch with real food shouldn’t be too much to ask for. Oh and to celebrate they sent cand
