Everyone i work with is so kind and wonderful. The company however, underpays their staff which causes many to lose interest and work ethic and even causes people to quit. We have been so under staffed because it doesnt pay enough for those that work hard and deal with the disrespect of customers.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was a very relaxed conversation because the managers and GM are both very open. They are easy to talk to
What makes you most happy at work?
Seeing my peers is the thing that makes me most happy. We all work together very well and efficiently even when the work can be draining mentally.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I have worked for ulta for 8 months and am humbly an asset to the company. My peers tell me jokibgly that im not allowed to go anywhere else. However, there is many things that i still dont know about the company. I honestly dont know what a leadership team is.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The kindness and ability to communicate make it a great place to feel comfortable at work. These people have become friends and i dont feel funny about talking to them about problems at work or even personal issues. We really value each other and it is wonderful to be a part of
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
All of us know that the ulta company is lackluster so we kinda just laugh it off together. We bond over it. We are also very inclusive and see each other almost as family. We get protective when someone isnt treated fairly and its nice to have that support system there when its needed
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I work as a beauty advisor, so i am not given any benefits even though i was told i would when i went for my interview. It is also very hard to move to a higher position. Ulta prides themselves on the ability to grow in the company and from what i have seen, there is no growth or enough pay
