The annual team treat seasonal & part-time employees that are not friends or those they like, with a bias; which questions their ability to represent ULTA & its core values. Managers need to have proper training/skill development on how to hold leadership/supervisory roles, esp. ethical values.
Most the co-workers are mistreated and the management need to learn how to be supervisors and not accuse people or place blame on employees; when the supervisors are lacking proper leadership and professionalism skills to begin with. The management need to develop their skills to have a strong team.
The store manager was misleading on length of the position, and appears to focus on the numbers that the corporation expects. The IT department needs to work on the tutorials and onboard training should take at least 8 hours; there was lack of training to prepare employees to meet the full potential
The customers are why ULTA is a business to begin with. Working with the customers and helping them find what they are wanting to purchase or introducing them to something new is what is the most rewarding part of the job. Staff, there are cliques and social groups which gossip/back bite other staff
