What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Understand what is happening at the front lines. Honor and support employees. Stop the hiring freeze. Prioritize ruthlessly- too many initiatives pushed on us at once, and we are just trying to take good care of patients.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Vacation accumulation. sick leave. short and long term disabiliy.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Investment in conferences and learning opportunities. Bring back the L&D department. Better support for working moms- paid maternity leave, bring back the canceled back up care program.

What are some of the best things about your team?
Resilient group that would bend of backwards to get a task done for UW Health at their own expense with very limited guidance or information. The position would constantly change and we had 6 managers since 2013, exhausting!

For the most part they are great, except a few that ask me to do their job instead of trying it themselves

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
I really don't how, its so far gone. Its bad when your personal doctor/provider is complaining about the company during your office visit that I paid a copay for.

I was a new hire right out of school and was just glad to be hired at the place I did my internship at 12 yrs ago.

Lack of communication and not using their resources effectively.

already discussed with HR, but their hands are tied

See previous comments. Lack of focus and priotitization. Strategic plan has too many projects, and new things are added. Put the focus back on the patient and value our front line.
