What does the leadership team need to get better at?
I am a manager in the store and the past 2 years and even more so this year I had no idea what was going on week to week. Directives changed so often that we nor do other stores know what is going on. We have half the amount of hours we used to get to do the same job. It’s just unrealistic

Ask us what we think and pay us better, they get bonus plus 4 times or more than what the average worker gets.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
As a manager I receive 0 bonus opportunities. Our benefits which are not free get worse every year, this past year our benefits had 3 options and were not any cheaper than going out and getting insurance on your own

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
I would not say the issues can be fixed at this level. The expectations are that you do the job at the same standards set previously that you had double and in some stores 3 times the amount of staffing you are currently given. Can’t reach sales goals if there are not people to assist

It's a small group so it easy to get in and out of a meeting.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
People on charge need to care about sears and not the land value. Although that’s what matters to them they still are employee people and setting expectations to achieve goals that are not realistic with what they are being given from the corporate level.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Sears needs to come up with a realistic plan and stick to it. Changing every week does not work. One week you get rid of something and a few weeks later you bring it back. It’s an ongoing circle the last 7 years
