Treating employees with the same importance as the do managers.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
My health insurance and my pay and all my benefits

Medical and dental package is the only good thing. Union dues are a waste of money.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel all my workers deserve more pay for the hard work and dedication they put in. Plus, with the severity of COVID in the area right now, we should we receiving hazard pay for continuing to expose ourselves and family members to the risks.

A simple, genuine thank you would be great. And honoring 1 requested day off per year for a head clerk would be nice as well

Safeway doesn't like to give raises. Basically, somebody getting hired to today would make the same amount of money I do because of minimum wage...I've been there 5 years

What makes you most happy at work?
I enjoy my fellow employees. I love our customers for the most part, that is our usuals. I love interacting with people. I like helping people. I used to enjoy coming to work.
