Managers need to be trained to manage employees. To promote a ream environment. To actually have the skills. Not everyone is capable of managing just because they came up through the ranks. Manager at Oslo and US 1 in Vero Beach FL is not even remotely qualufied.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Co-workers dont stick around very long due to manager. Very poor morale due to poor manager.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I truly cannot think of anything positive. She makes everyone miserable which makes for a very negative atmosphere
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Train managers to be managers. Provide employees with an alternative source for problematic issues. In her mind-the buck stops with her. No one, especially someone so incompetent, should wield such power.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Manager guarantees full time ir close to it when hired. Then continues to hire and cuts hours of loyal workers to less than 25 hours. When questioned they are they are fully staffed now so hours will fluctuate. Their bills dont fluctuate. Totally unacceptable and unfair labor practices. Bulies
What did you like most about the interview process?
The process was easy to maneuver. However, lying to prospective employees regarding hours is unacceptable. Then when their hours are severly cut, they get a second jib, and the manager refuses to attempt to work WITH them. How long would she be able ti survive on HALF her salary?
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Educate managers on MANAGING. Totally unqualified. Comments have been made on corporate website and go completeky ignored. This site said HR at Walgreens received a D rating by employees. The only surprising thing is that it wasnt an F. The morale and turnover at store is due to the manager
