I'm a long time employee and have experienced many cutbacks that have made it difficult to feel positive about my workplace. There is only so many times you can do more with less. It's frustrating when I try to do my best and don't feel like it matters.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was very relaxing and laid back.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Making everyone feel like they're making a difference.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Being held accountable for things beyond our control and getting negative reviews. Realistic expectations about what is being done.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
More tasks keep getting added without proper training, if I'm going to be required to do more work I want my pay to reflect new tasks.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The members of my team all work well together even when things are stressful and we have to do many things at a time. Everyone jumps in to help where they can.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The executives need to keep in mind that there are people on the front lines who rely on this job for a living, along with customers that rely on us to do our job the best way we can. Making cuts on the store level prevents us from doing that.
