What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Coworkers rallyIng together helping each other out with the unrealistic work load.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Unrealistic work loads and metrics with a very limited amount of employees that are poorly trained.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

More realistic outlook of job expectations and the acknowledgment that budget changes will be made monthly.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Everyone tries to pull together and make it work, in spite of constant corporate cutbacks, restructuring, and unrealistic metrics.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Vacation accrual rates need to be increased, and increased incrementally even after 15 years. Seniority/years of service and experience should be rewarded with extra benefits, right now neither is valued. COVID response has been lip service, not actual protection for employees or customers.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Big disconnect with corporate and store level. Metrics and numbers are all that matter. There is no heart, no concern for employees, patients, or customers by upper management fortunately. Walgreens has changed so much in the last decade, and not for the better. Much opportunity to do better!!
