Supposedly LGBTQ friendly but managers make fun of homosexual employees behind their backs. Very abusive work environment. Scheduling is terrible and always short handed. The company pays no attention to fees back. Store managers are overly involved in work place drama and harass employees.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Non-management coworkers are awesome people. Store a managers and corporate are a whole nother story. Very abusive.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Give more hours so an extra person can be scheduled. Corporate needs to listen to its employees. Quit cutting pharmacy hours as well.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
The manager lied about me and said I was a no call no show after I had put in a two weeks notice... yet hired me back immediately.....
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Higher pay. New hires with no experience are being paid more than loyal employees who have been there for years and do more work and have never called off. Walgreens punishes the good and rewards the bad.
